Hello!! I am Eva Nelly Rubio and I am studying in the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez Campus. Recently I have been selected to participate in the program Bio-Minds, sponsored by Amgen and the University of Puerto Rico. This program gives me the opportunity to develope skills in Microbiology investigation. My mentor is Professor Carlos Rios Velazquez and the investigation is about bioluminescent bacteria in Puerto Rico. I know that participating in this program and the investigation I will be prepared in the future to work in the industry.

You investigation sounds interesting!! We both studying the same bacteria but with different methods so we can have a complete analysis on the bioluminescent bacteria. Hope everything turns out well!!! we lab partners now!!!
