Hello!! I am Eva Nelly Rubio Marrero. Actually I am studying Industrial Biotechnology in the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus. Recently I have been selected as undergraduated student to do investigation in the Biominds Program, sponsored by Amgen and the University of Puerto Rico. My mentor is Professor Carlos Rios Velazquez and the investigation is about bioluminescent bacteria in Puerto Rico. I know that participating in this program I will develop many skills in the investigation area an I will be prepared to work in the industry.
